| Helhoughton Church Hall This project undertook repairs to the church hall. The work involved re-roofing, renewing guttering and bargeboards, strengthening of the main roof purlin and underpinning the small entrance porch. This village church hall is the centre of village life, being used for activities ranging from art and flower arranging classes to its Parish Council meetings. It is a vital meeting place for all the community. It needed essential repairs to the roof and porch before deterioration of the structure set in. The grant was for outside repairs, the inside having already been completed by community volunteers. Other funders for the project include Rural Community Council, Helhoughton Parish Council, North Norfolk District Council and their own fundraising.  |
