Swardeston

Swardeston cricket club applied to EPA for funding for a new artificial wicket, as the original wicket was in a very poor state of repair. EPA sourced funding from local Landfill Operator Norfolk Environmental Waste Services Ltd (NEWS).

The pictures to the right show the new surface being put to good use by local school children, as part of the club's efforts to raise cricketing standards in Norfolk.

2: Club member and local businessman Neil Fox, of Fox Insurance Brokers, funded 10% of the project.
